Sci Fi Wire is reporting that Tom DeSanto, producer of the upcoming Transformers reenvisioning, has secured film rights to Cryptic Studios' and NCSoft's superhero MMO City of Heroes. Apparently, the plan is to initially set a film in the game's world, and subsequently develop a TV spin off.
